Plants For Paws at The Shops at Quarry Lake Greenspring
Join us for a community event celebrating doing good for yourself & doing good for our furry friends—Plants for Paws!
Proudly sponsored & hosted by Obrecht Properties—Baltimore Humane Society will be standing up a Sidewalk Spring Market at Quarry Lake (2570 Quarry Lake Dr, Baltimore, MD 21209) on May 1, from 10am–2pm. They will be selling veggies, herbs, & flowers in front of the former Pet Valu store, across from Subway and Rita’s, with all proceeds benefiting Baltimore Humane Society. All shoppers that make a purchase at the Plants for Paws event will be entered to win prizes! And, of course, friendly pets are welcome! Bring your leashed fur babies with you to enjoy the free sniffs and free treats
Baltimore Humane Society is a huge force for good in our community. The organization’s mission points are:
- Provide a temporary home, a safe refuge, and care for unwanted and homeless animals.
- Work aggressively to place each animal that comes to our shelter in a loving, permanent home.
- Strive to end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals by promoting and offering affordable spaying and neutering to control the population of unwanted animals in our area and addressing the issues that cause people to give up animals.
- Advance the humane treatment of animals and increase awareness of animal issues through public education.
